Programs for Adults








April 10, 6:00 pm

Join the club!  Adults are invited to meet by the Boathouse in Verona Park the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a 30-minute walk while discussing a great read. The first book to be discussed is The Mothers, by Brit Bennett. Contact the Library for your copy.

April 3, 11:00 am.  Bloomfield Public Library.  Meet in front of the Library

April 10, 6:00 pm.  Verona Public Library.  Meet at the Boathouse in Verona Park

April 17, 11:00 am.  Montclair Public Library.  Meet in front of the Library

Adult Conversation Group

Mondays ~ 6:30 pm

Led by Arlene Aguirre, certified ESL instructor.  Practice your English speaking skills in a friendly, no-pressure environment!  Make new friends and get acquainted with your community.  All skill levels are welcome!

Caps for Chemo

Tuesdays ~ 11:00 am

Knitters of all levels are invited to make hats for chemotherapy patients, which will then be donated to St. Barnabas Hospital. There are patterns for women, men and children so that anyone experiencing treatment-induced hair loss can feel warm in a treatment room or outside. 

Warm someone’s day with your own creation! Materials will be provided.  Please register to let us know that you're coming.

Meet in the Firemen's Room of the Verona Community Center (upstairs).

Thursdays ~ 10:00 am

Certified Reiki Practitioner Anne Shields will lead sessions of relaxation and meditation.  Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket.
