Join the club!  Adults are invited to meet by the Boathouse in Verona Park the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a 30-minute walk while discussing a great read. The selection for May is The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, by Gabrielle Zevin. Contact the Library for your copy.

May 8, 6:00 pm.  Verona Public Library.  Meet at the Boathouse in Verona Park

Mondays ~ 6:30 pm

Practice your English speaking skills in a friendly, no-pressure environment!  Make new friends and get acquainted with your community.  All skill levels are welcome!

Knit for a Cause

Donate to Pine Ridge Reservation

Tuesdays ~ 11:00 am

Knit, crochet or sew clothing and accessories that will be distributed to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.  Poverty on Pine Ridge ranks worst in the nation, and your contribution will be appreciated.  Warm someone’s day with your own creation! 

Materials will be provided, but yarn donations are welcome.  Please register to let us know that you're coming.

Meet in the Firemen's Room of the Verona Community Center (upstairs).

Can't join us in person?  You can still contribute!  Visit the Friends of Pine Ridge to learn how.

Thursdays ~ 10:00 am

*Please note: There will be no class April 26 or May 3rd

Certified Reiki Practitioner Anne Shields will lead sessions of relaxation and meditation.  Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket.
