REBL Lenders  

Through Reciprocal Essex Borrowing Libraries (REBL), Verona Public Library card holders may visit & borrow directly from many Essex County public libraries (with the exception of Millburn & West Caldwell).  Many college libraries also honor REBL cards (see below).  However, academic libraries restrict lending to borrowers over 18 years of age.

This service is available free to Verona Public Library card holders.  Ask for a REBL sticker for your card to take advantage of this service!  The stickers are given out annually - be sure to renew every January.

New Jersey Library Consortia

REBL - Reciprocal Essex Borrowing Libraries is an organization of 24 Essex County libraries which permit a library card holder from any member library to borrow books from other member libraries, with some restrictions.
Verona Public Library participates in the REBL system.

BCCLS - Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS), Consortium of 73 libraries in Bergen and neighboring counties.  Verona Public Library card holders can borrow only from BCCLS libraries which are also REBL lenders. Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Livingston, Nutley and Roseland are Essex County libraries in both the BCCLS and the REBL consortia.  Verona Public Library is not part of the BCCLS system.

LMXAC - Middlesex County Library Consortium catalog.   Catalogs of 27 Middlesex County libraries.
Verona Public Library is not part of the LMXAC system.

MAIN - Consortium of 37 public libraries in the Morris County Library system, with a unified catalog.
Verona Public Library is not part of the MAIN system.

PALS Plus - Passaic County Computer Consortium.  Catalogs of 26 Passaic and neighboring county library catalogs.
Verona Public Library is not part of the PALS Plus system.
