It's now possible to search our catalog from home! You may also access your account to see what you've checked out, find out when your items are due, renew your books or place a reserve. Click on "My Account" in the left column to sign in (have your library card ready--it will ask for your barcode number). If you'd just like to look for an item, click "Search Catalog."
For a tutorial, stop in the Library's Reference Department or see our Patron Orientation Guide.
In support of Verona's award-winning Mandarin Program, the Verona Public Library is pleased to now offer books in Mandarin Chinese. Books are available in both fiction and nonfiction for children and adults. To search for these books in our catalog, type in "Mandarin" and select "All Headings." Visit the Verona Public Schools website for more information about the Mandarin Program.
Instead of using Google, try searching our databases for up-to-date information on a variety of topics. Use them for homework assignments, consumer and health information, genealogy research, or for finding old newspaper articles.
These databases provide full-text information from hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and reference sources, including the Encyclopaedia Britannica and the Oxford English Dictionary. Type in the number on your Verona Public Library card for full access at home or in the Library.
For kids' databases, visit our Homework Help Page.
